selling scent online is a photography and copywriting problem before it's a media problem. paid traffic only works if the page it lands on can close.

the challenge

what was in the way.

you cannot demonstrate a fragrance. the product page has to do the work with imagery, language, and enough credibility signals that a first-time visitor will risk a purchase.

paid traffic magnifies whatever is already there. sending spend to a slow or unconvincing page burns budget faster than it earns — the site had to be right before a single dollar was spent.

what we did

the actual work.

01

built the site to convert

fast on mobile, with the product page structured around the decision a buyer is actually making rather than around a template's idea of a shop.

02

wrote it to sell

language that describes scent in terms people can picture, not perfumery jargon.

03

shot the product

in-house photography and content built for the page and the ad set, so the imagery on the site and in the feed came from the same shoot.

04

then ran the ads

meta campaigns pointed at a page that could hold them, measured on return rather than on reach.

the result

what changed.

4.87× return on ad spend. the ads got the credit, but the page is what closed.
