who we are
GDJ Marketing Inc. (“gdj.”, “we”, “us”) is a marketing studio incorporated in the State of New York and based in New York City. we are the controller of the personal information described in this notice. write to us at 447 Broadway, 2nd Floor #1033, New York, NY 10013, or email gdjcreative@gmail.com.
what we collect
when you submit the contact form we collect your name and email address, and — if you choose to give them — your phone number, business name, and the message you write. if you accept analytics cookies we also collect the pages you visit, roughly where in the world you are, your device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. our host records standard server logs, including ip address, as part of running the site securely.
why we collect it
the form: solely to reply to your enquiry and, if we work together, to deliver the work. analytics: to understand which pages are useful and where people get stuck, so we can improve the site. we do not sell or rent your information, and we will not add you to a marketing list without asking you first.
your choice about analytics
we use Google Analytics 4, and it does not run until you accept it. the notice that appears on your first visit sets no analytics cookies unless you choose “that’s fine”, and we honour Global Privacy Control as a refusal. you can change your mind at any time using the “cookie settings” link in the footer of every page. see our cookie policy for exactly what is stored.
who we share it with
Google LLC processes analytics data on our behalf under Google’s data processing terms; we have IP anonymisation on and Google Signals and ads personalisation off. our contact form is delivered through Web3Forms, which relays it to our inbox and does not retain it, and our email is hosted by Google Workspace/Gmail. both process your message only to deliver it to us. our site is hosted by Hostinger. analytics data may be processed in the United States under Google’s standard contractual clauses.
how long we keep it
enquiries that don’t become projects are deleted after 24 months. records relating to work we carried out are kept for 7 years for accounting and legal purposes. analytics data is retained by Google for 14 months and is not linked to your name or email.
your rights
you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask for a copy. email gdjcreative@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days, free of charge. if you are a New York resident, the SHIELD Act applies to how we safeguard your data; residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with privacy statutes, and anyone in the UK or EU, may have additional rights including the right to object to processing. we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
security
we hold your information on services protected by encryption in transit and at rest, and we limit access to the people who need it in order to reply to you.
children
this site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. if you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
changes
if we change this notice we will update the date below. material changes — such as adding a new processor or a new purpose — will be noted at the top of this page.
